I feel as if my mind has been polluted by the knowledge of this world. Worldly questions have captivated my thoughts. If any of you have taken a philosophy course, you may understand the confusion. It's not that I ever doubted God to exist, but I questioned his character.
"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you."
-james 4:7-8
I think the fog is finally beginning to clear. Submission has been the key, and God has begun to unveil himself to me, as promised. So much scripture has been poured into me, making me to realize that once again, I don't have anything in this life 'figured out' (whatever that even means). 'In fact, I've come to realize that life is not a story about me, but it is a story being told to me, and I can be thankful of that' (Donald Miller, Blue Like Jazz).
"I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."

It's a beautiful mystery.
